ANZAC Day 2011

We only had to brave a few showers early that morning in Goodna. We forget how the troops battled the elements, the unknown surroundings and the enemy fire during conflicts overseas.

Those who were there, young and old, then showed their respects  a short while later at the USQ Springfield as the sun came up.

We did not want to intrude with our camera flashing through the ceremony so these hand held images were captured on our faithful Nikon D3s . With the ISO cranked up a long way we are pleased to share the mornings events with you.

There is still a bit of noise in the images but we believe we have captured the spirit and atmosphere there!
